OSSIE CLARK... JUST LIKE THE V&A

The Victoria & Albert museum has an identical suit within their collection! This is a highly stylish black crepe flared trouser suit from Ossie Clark, vintage c.1970. If you are seeking one of the prized Ossie creations, but find the idea of a busy-print dress to be rather daunting, this could be the perfect, and refined choice. With rouge-red satin piping, the suit comprises of a long sleeve jacket / over blouse, and widely flared trousers which have great movement when the wearer walks due to their cut and fullness.

The jacket features a flared peplum cut, side pockets and scalloped edging along the collar and openings, whilst the trouser hems have vertical slits. All edges and pocket slits are edged in the vivid rouge satin. It fastens with a zipper on the trousers, and jacket has front buttons. Presented in excellent and ready to wear condition.
Garment Measurements: waist of trousers 24inches, loose-fit blouse
